R.F.F.! Christians, what Scripture best describes the spiritual state of your nation, and...?

... which Scripture do you think would best represents the spiritual answer for your nation?R.F.F.! Christians, what Scripture best describes the spiritual state of your nation, and...?
Hi Elder Greg.

Always good to see you again. You make my day and that of many others. So many scriptures tell of where we are right now.

I think the ones that best says it tho is:

Matt 24:12 as it talks about how peoples hearts will becoem wax, COLD. and in other scriiptures it tells what happens when they become hearted, not only to their parents but to everone. Its not just being cold about God, they end up becomind cold hearted about everything, like they are numb, with no conscious.

I always say , Look around us folks, why say this is soon to come??? Its already here.

Great question.

Thanks for asking.

God bless you.

[Mt 23:1-36]:

'''Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:

';The teachers of the Law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.[Notice that the Pharisees sat 'in Moses' seat' and apparently relayed to others what the Law said, but their lifestyle apparently did not follow what they preached]

They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long;

they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them Rabbi.

Change phylacteries for smiles, change tassels for speeches, change synagogues for nation and change Pharisee and Rabbi for ';president, law maker or any other elected official'; and I think you pretty much describe our nation.

The scripture that would be our spiritual answer:

If My people who are called by My name would humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (important note: it's HIS PEOPLE, called by HIS NAME that need to pray!)
Matthew 3:7

7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them:

';You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?
I can't think of any specifically, but I think it would be in Revelation, or maybe Romans. There are a lot of parallels between Rome then and America today.
Psalm 14:3

All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
Revelations, describes the state of some the churches today

that they have become luke warm in their Biblical doctrine
