If the european nations became a whole nation (the United States of Europe) would it be beneficial for the USA?

was wondering...if all the nations in the UE merged together for becoming a whole nation, like the USA...how the USA would react? would it be beneficial for the USA?If the european nations became a whole nation (the United States of Europe) would it be beneficial for the USA?
Economically such a formation would be beneficial. However, militarily it won't. As much as America loves democracy and as much as our government wants to preach about it and spread it, the reality is that our government doesn't actually want independent thinking democratic powers. Our government wants democracies that are submissive to its economic and political interests. So a huge european nation would more likely be a political and military threat/competitor. At the end of the day, our government doesn't really care about the governments of nation, as long as it's submissive in its policies and its relationship to America. That is the reality. So the best answer really would be No.
