If the Holocaust had not occurred, was it possible for a modern day nation state of Israel to develop?

I got news for you. If the holocaust had not occurred, Israel would not have become a nation. The Balfour Declaration around World War One just languished and languished on. Then, this happened and, presto; 1948. Officially recognized nation born in a night, you might say.If the Holocaust had not occurred, was it possible for a modern day nation state of Israel to develop?

Sadly,no. The Jewish people have lived among many nations as productive, and peaceful people, prior to Hitler starting his murderous campaign against them, no one wanted to get involved in other countries, the USA too, they did not allow some Jewish People to immigrate, England rejected them too. You have to do research to discover the truth, there was Anti- Semitism in the US and many other countries, there is still Anti- Semitism today. The State of Israel is the only really good thing that has happened to the Jewish People. The Holocaust helped the Jewish People to start fighting for their own country, they had to fight the British and Arabs for their country and with much heroism they won.
Almost certainly not. The Holocaust was the primary impetus for the creation of the modern day nation of Israel.
I doubt it. It took the Holocaust to make Europeans realize that they didn't want the Jews to be wiped out, and to realize that a Jewish nation would make that a lot harder to pull off.

So that's why the Europeans handed over the Middle East territory containing Jerusalem that was in their control. They just didn't think, or didn't care, that there were other people who considered it home, and that some of those people would think that the Jews would be out to get them (Arab Muslims).
Yes, once the British decided they wanted out, but it would have been a lot harder to get done.
it would have developed nevertheless since it is mentioned in God's Word [The Holy Bible] that the Hebrew people of whome which God promissed the Holy Land will be brought back to it.
No, because the world wouldn't have felt any sympathy for the cause.
of course it happened, the americans have made movies about it
