No one talks about changes in politics or breakthrus or miracles in curing things, but producers get credited for this stuff?

The thing is, the economy will always suck in every nation to some extent. Everything is old news. Our nation isn't really even that bad. There are many countries that don't even have jobs for 90% of their population.Why are people more obsessed with thos idiots Jon and Kate than the sad state of our nation?
The state of this country and the world is sad. The truth is painful. Also, some are not intelligent enough to grasp exactly what is going on. That is due to lack of education and sometimes natural stupidity.





The reason people get involved with someone elses life is because they feel it is more exciting than their own. It's new, exciting, refreshing and interesting. How interesting is your 9-5 and spaghetti Thursdays at your in-laws?





People are generally stupid, ignorant and impressionable.
Well, the first thing I thought when reading this question is why you arent over in the politics %26amp; government section instead of the celebrity section. I mean, if you're really more concerned for our nation rather than celebs, you should be over there discussing issues with like minded people, right? LOADS of people talk about changes in politics in the politics section. I know...I used to go there. And because I was, I have to disagree wih your assessment of people getting ';dumber';. Go over there and find out how they really are. They're getting *meaner* and some just can't take it anymore and come over here to lighten up some.





So check out that section. You might fit in.

John and Kate plus 8 doesn't take up anywhere near the amount of tv time as News coverage. You have news all over channels 4-12 (or at least here I do) plus you have world news on CNN, FOX, CBN. Personally I read and watch way more world news than I do watch John %26amp; Kate. Ppl enjoy this show because the kids are adorable, it's interesting to see the family dynamic and what kind of experiences a large family goes through. And it's a way to relax, as opposed to watching news which can be depressing at times.
