I want to know the name of Liberian president and the new MPs. How is the present state of the nation.?

i know Liberia recently voted for a new president who is a woman but i have forgotten the name of this woman. i also want to know the number of Member of Parliament Liberia has if possible their names and presently how is the nation like.I want to know the name of Liberian president and the new MPs. How is the present state of the nation.?
The new Liberian President is Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.


She plans to restructure a judicial system that has broken down because of the many years of lawlessness, indiscipline and warfare. Included will be more training to get more qualified judges and infrastructural reforms. All of the laws need to be re-examined by a law reform commission. Liberia had so many interim governments, and they passed so many laws, that some of them are duplicating each other, while others are contradicting each other.


She also plans to review all concessions and contracts that were signed during the interim government as many of them were not signed in the interest of the country. That process is ongoing. Liberia has also been under sanctions, although sanctions on forestry were lifted just last week. The ministry is now looking at proposals along with the national investment commission, being very careful in giving out a concession and making sure it benefits the economy.


The only thing I know about the Parliment is that they were instrumental in getting former President Charles Taylor to step down.I want to know the name of Liberian president and the new MPs. How is the present state of the nation.?
