There's an essay in circulation by Craig R. Smith about how Americans are so privileged yet so incredibly discontented. He calls us a bunch of spoiled whiners, and I tend to agree with him. We have free speech, a lot of us live in safe towns and so much else to be thankful for. It seems weird that we would lament the state of our nation.
