If Elected Will Obama Make The Nation Of Islam The 51st State?

Many of his paid staffers are acolytes of the whack job Louis Farakhan.

I hope so. I want to get one of those cool busboy uniforms that Farrakhans' goons wear.If Elected Will Obama Make The Nation Of Islam The 51st State?
So we should take the word of an unidentified former employee quoted in a right wing blog? I don't think you'll fool many people with that! I also notice that the ';many'; you mention is two people... one of whom doesn't work there!

The Haters will have to do better than this...

Democrats 2008
Get real, eveyone knows it will be the 58th state, we already have 57 of them.

Calling Farakhan a whack job, is an insult to a whack job
Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
No, the 58th. We already have 57 states according to his math. Affirmative Action at work.
No. The 58th State.
Lol. Cute, now run off and play with your Ronald Reagan action figure. Burn some rock records too.
I just hope he does not get elected. Sorry but that is not what we need, deliberate suicide.
They probably work harder than you!
Don't you mean the 58th ? We already have 57, you know.
What land would that cover?
The way the shrub turned the US into a 4th class country?

  • Forget the Rugby Tests Bring on a State of nations series?

Came up with a thought now that Ireland %26amp; England have named their teams to come out and play the All Blacks. I personally think they are a waste of time.

Why not have a State of Nations series with New zealand based players playing against those kiwis who play rugby else where, including Tony Brown over in South Africa.

I am sure this type of series after the Super 14 would be a smashing hit !!! in more ways than one.

A trophy carrying our greatest Kiwi could be up for grabs. I reckon Lancaster Park %26amp; the cake tim would be chocker full with fans. A three match series would be great for the fans.

The jersey colours could be Maroon %26amp; Gold for one team and Green %26amp; Black (?) being the colours of meads %26amp; Lochores provinces.

The coach for the overseas team could be ian Foster as well as he has plenty of time to plan as he is not normally involved in Super 14 semi's.

Any thoughts.Forget the Rugby Tests Bring on a State of nations series?
crap idea and go easy on Fozzy, great coach!Forget the Rugby Tests Bring on a State of nations series?
Rather than a state of ';nations'; why not go with the province of origin? It has been suggested in the past and brings up some interesting mixes, basically the players play for the province where they were born. It could be kind of entertaining but do you really think that the tests are going to be a waste of time? I'll be in Wellington to watch the Irish one (mainly cos I have season tickets)!
What a rat sh!t idea i hate it intensely, Im not sure Tony Brown could beat a team of 15 players from NZ considering he is about he only kiwi in SA. You should get a job on the ARU panel with them crazy rat sh!t ideas would fit right in. ';State of nation'; doesnt even make any sense for starters lay off the crack.
neil w you are a tool. worst idea ever. why on earth would you get an expat team? theres a reason most of the players have left and that is because they are ****
why not have something similar to state of origin? eg north island v south land? could be a great battlle.

Discuss why the state of Israel is often considered to be the child of the United Nations?

What are the implications of this “birth” for the region today?Discuss why the state of Israel is often considered to be the child of the United Nations?
Israel was created by a UN mandate in 1948. Muslims have always felt that muslim land is for muslims only. They have no problem immigrating to ';infidel'; lands but it is an affront to them to have ';infidels'; live in their countries.

Putting Jews in their land was a great insult and they will be always at war with Israel and their supporters until the ';infidels' are driven out of their land.Discuss why the state of Israel is often considered to be the child of the United Nations?
Israel plays a key factor in the UN because it is the only nation that can bring about an Armageddon to put it simply. A Holy War to end all wars. Basically centuries ago, the Israelites had this holy place that was called the Temple of Solomon, it was so special because the Knights Templar fought to keep it secret, what secret was held in those walls we'll never know, some say the bones of Christ, some say the Arc of the Covenant whatever it was it was special and holy and would be the downfall of the Catholic Churches Reign of Power. So the Knights Templar were called witches and everyone in association was killed, and the Temple destroyed. When the land was taken over by Muslims, they claimed it to be the same spot that Mohammad had decended from Earth to heaven. Therefore becoming a Holy Site for the Muslim world. They call it the Dome of the Rock. So we have these two incredibly vast and important religions now in disagreements over to whose land that holy site truly belongs too. According to scripture, the Temple of Solomon needs to be rebuilt in order for Christ to Return to Earth to basically ';finish the job'; and end all this sh*t here on earth, ward off all the darkness so to speak. And in order for the Temple to be rebuilt, the Dome of the Rock needs to be destroyed, and the Muslims are NOT going to allow that to happen. If it does, welcome WWIII.

Will the United States become a nation of overweight people?

I work out so I'm not going to be fat. Will the United States become a nation of overweight people?
I hope not. They have been creating more obesity awareness programs and more gyms and making it cheaper for obest people that can not really afford it. They have also been been making more healthy food choices....even fast food has been making grilled foods and salads. America is trying. Things don't change over night though. Will the United States become a nation of overweight people?
It already is a nation of lard butts. Watch an old film from the 30's or 40's and see how tiny, skinny those people used to be - we have lots more food now. Except the food we have is often of poor quality - lots of sugar - makes for big fat people.
Most adult Americans are already overweight, so we are already considered an ';overweight nations';, the real question is that will we ever become an ';obese nation';?

(Keep in mind that ';overweight'; could also just mean an extra 5 or 10 extra pounds.)
    It already is, mostly.

It's called the Obesity Epidemic for a reason. Most people in the United States are overweight or obese.
    It already is.
    already is?
the states got a lot of fat ppl
    were on our way
    we already are
    I won't!

    I LOVE my abs!

Are the United States of America ';One Nation Under God'; or ';Land of the Free';?

I felt it was worth re-asking the question because I did not mean to forget the countries north and south of us. It's just when you hear something so much, you kind of just forget I guess. Anyway, no offense intended. Are the United States of America ';One Nation Under God'; or ';Land of the Free';?
Former no, latter yes.Are the United States of America ';One Nation Under God'; or ';Land of the Free';?
Well, they are ';one nation';, that's for sure. and if god lives upstairs then you can say the US are ';one nation under god';. In that case they can still be a location on this earth where the free roam the land as they please.

They also used to be the ';home of the brave'; - but they closed the home down once all the brave had gone upstairs to god.
When the pledge was originally written in 1892 it did not contain the words ';under God.'; It remained this way until the words were added by a joint resolution of Congress in 1954, where they have remained until today.

So for 62 years there was no ';under God,'; and for 55 years we've said ';under God.'; Remember this the next time someone says we should keep the words in the pledge for the sake of tradition.

If God exists then the United States, like every other country, is a nation under him. This kind of goes without saying. And if there is no God the statement is false but harmless - certainly I'd prefer a bunch of ticked off atheists than a bunch of ticked off Christians. Christians have a bad track record when it comes to language they find offensive.

';Land of the Free?'; Sure, we're that too. We both agree that ';Free'; is used metaphorically, right? Because I'm not free to insider trade, yell ';Fire!'; in a crowded theatre, or murder your dad. In this sense we're about as ';Free'; as people in any first world country. I think this is a nice little saying that means nothing, so by all means continue saying it if it makes you feel a little better about things. Or don't. I don't care.

Is it an either/or situation? Where's the excluded middle? I figure both sayings are harmless because they are meaningless. Knock yourself out if you want to say them. But don't pretend they have any kind of value, intellectual, spiritual, or otherwise.
Read the rules and the reason for our country--the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

The declaration mentions the creator in general terms. The constitution (Bill of Rights) explicitly states no laws may be made enforcing belief.

So, millions of arguments about true intent or so on do not matter. These are the rules we agreed to.
';Under god'; is one irritating addition to the pledge of allegiance that our founding fathers would feel ashamed of. It was added in 1954 after years of lobbying by religious groups. Gross insertion of religious meme aimed at children at schools.
It SHOULD be land of the Free, but people take things too far. We can't speak of God or Jesus in a public setting, it seems. We are judged SO harshly for being a Christian because we're not ';accepting';. Since when did acceptance become the ultimate good? Just because society thinks one way doesn't mean I have to agree with it. I should have the authority and the freedome to:

    1. Rear my children how I believe (I should be able to spank them without fear of having them stolen from me to be raised by an inept government).

    2. Make money (not have taxes increased upon me because I decided not to use credit cards and live a modest life instead of living extravagantly and then asking for help when I've lived beyond my means).

    3. Express my thoughts (I am allowed to say what I want to say. I don't care if you interpret them as racism. Believe it or not, sometimes people just SAY things! They don't deeply analyze them all the time! I don't suddenly have empathy for a thief when I realize that they're a different race. If he/she's a thief, to jail they should go!).

    4. Determine my own amount of safety (no LAW should tell me to buckle my seatbelt. That's MY decision. I should be able to kill myself if I want to. My body, my decision).

    5. Determine who I have sex with (I don't believe that God intended for gay marriages or sex before marriage or divorce, but I don't believe that's the government's place ither).
    I think we are moving from ';Under Imaginary Friend'; to ';Land of the Free';

Freedom is the right of all humans, not the right of some.
Listen to the pastafarian. Most of our founding fathers were atheists or Deists. It's a shame that our pledge has been so bastardized. Get your grimey hands off of our pledge Christians! :( please :)
    Actually, we are the ';Home of the Brave';
Let's see first what computerization can do to change america, the world of automation.
';Home of the brave';. That's why we always call everybody else ';cowards';.
No it's not one nation under god.. of course it can't be when they wont even let ppl pray in school... in some instances you can't even say AMEN (what is that about?)
